The Crescent Wins AILA NSW Award
The Crescent was recently awarded the NSW State Landscape Architecture Award by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects in the 'Parks and Open Space' category.
The judges recognised The Crescent as "an exemplar project that delivers a series of inclusive community park and open space opportunities as an inner city offering, and valued community asset." Noting that "Special recognition is given to the care and respect for the materiality and the level of crafting in the execution. This attention to detail has resulted in a highly sophisticated and beautiful project much loved by the community."
